Udodilim Nnamdi
Udodilim (U.d.) Nnamdi is currently a consultant with Georgetown Law School’s Human Security project working on development and outreach for new initiatives focused on victim centered justice for mass atrocities. U.d. previously worked as an associate in the International Litigation and Arbitration practice of Foley Hoag DC where she specialized in representing sovereign states in investment arbitration disputes and other public international law and human rights pro bono matters. Previously, at Columbia Law School, she focused on a range of international justice issues while interning with the UN Special Rapporteur on Extreme Poverty and Human Rights, Columbia Earth Institute’s Women, Peace & Security Program, Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll DC, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and the Center for Justice & Accountability. Throughout law school, U.d. held leadership positions focused on increasing diversity in the international human rights field as a recipient of CLS’s inaugural anti-racism grant, SIPA International Fellow, Staff Editor for the Human Rights Law Review, Public Interest Chair of Columbia’s Society for International Law, Black Law Student Association’s International Service Trip Chair, and a Davis Polk Leadership Fellow. As a member of Columbia’s Human Rights Clinic, U.d. worked on the Central African Republic war crimes accountability project while simultaneously pursuing her LLM in International Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam.
