Dory Mayer Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Dory Mayer Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Daniel Wuersch (LL.M’91) in honor of Dory Mayer. Mr. Wuersch is a founding partner of Wuersch & Gering LLP, where his practice focuses on cross-border and domestic corporate, securities, and commercial matters. He serves on Georgetown’s European Law Alumni Advisory Board (ELAAB). Dory Mayer retired in 2015 after serving as Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Director of International Student Services at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a founding member of the Georgetown Club of Germany. The Mayer Fund provides merit-based scholarships for international students enrolled in the LL.M degree program.

China Scholarship Fund

The China Scholarship Fund provides access for the next generation of Chinese lawyers to study at Georgetown Law. This fund was set up to ensure that high merit students of all financial backgrounds from China have access to Georgetown Law and the transformative education that it offers. The Law Center is proud to be one of the top destinations for Chinese law students in the U.S.  We welcomed over 165 students from China during the 2017-2018 academic year. Since 2014, the Law Center has provided a total of $917,061 in tuition assistance to Chinese students and the total amount distributed per student has increased every year. This fund allows us to ensure that finances are not a barrier for any student from China to attend Georgetown Law.
