Bennett Ogle

Bennett Ogle grew up outside of Knoxville, TN before attending the University of Alabama. In 2025, he graduated summa cum laude with a BA in economics, MA in quantitative economics, and a graduate certificate in museum studies. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and conducted research on the global convergence of fertility rates partially funded through a Bank of Korea grant.

Bennett refined his international understanding in school through his internship with the U.S. Embassy in Latvia’s Political and Economic section in 2022 and time as a Critical Language Scholar in Baku, Azerbaijan during the summer of 2024. His experience interning at George Washington’s Mount Vernon and the Tennessee General Assembly has helped provide a base for his relational, cross-cultural focus. Following graduation, he served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Rēzekne, Latvia, working with students from grades five to twelve, organizing a student running club, and engaging with the local community.

Bennett is a White House Historical Association Next-Gen Leader and Blackburn Institute Fellow. At Georgetown, he is looking forward to exploring the legal environments of constitutional study and cultural heritage. He has enjoyed studying languages throughout his academic experiences and maintains various levels of proficiency in Azerbaijani, Spanish, and Latvian. In his free time, he enjoys visiting museums, staying physically active, and sharing meals with friends.
