Lauren Hahm

Lauren was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated magna cum laude from Ewha Womans University, where she studied International Studies with concentrations in International Law & Diplomacy and International Business & Economics.

During her undergraduate years, Lauren sought out opportunities that complemented her academic studies and allowed her to explore the intersection of law, business, and international affairs. At the Samsung Economic Research Institute (SERI), she researched U.S.–China trade policy and analyzed developments in international commerce. She later supported international marketing initiatives at Lufthansa and worked at SBS Medianet, where she coordinated communications, translation, and contract-related matters for an internationally broadcast television production. Together, these experiences strengthened her interest in the legal frameworks that underpin cross-border commerce and international collaboration.

At Georgetown Law, Lauren hopes to deepen her understanding of international transactional law and engage with the diverse perspectives of the Global Law Scholars community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys singing, playing volleyball, taking long walks, and making the most of sunny days.
