The US v. Google case put a spotlight on Google’s anti-competitive practices to maintain its illegal monopoly in online search, including its annual multi-billion-dollar payments to distributors like Apple, Samsung, and Mozilla, that secured Google the default search engine spot on nearly every mobile device and much of the desktop browser market.
