Class of 2028

Robert Kang is a J.D. candidate at Georgetown University Law Center with interests at the intersection of national security, technology, and criminal law.

Before law school, Robert served as a Cybersecurity Learning and Development Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he managed a portfolio of cybersecurity training programs for employees across all experience levels. He also oversaw strategic learning partnerships with training vendors and led the development of the firm’s Cyber AI curriculum. Prior to this role, he supported a government agency in the Intelligence Community as a consultant, focusing on strategic communications and organizational change management.

During the summer of 2026, Robert served as a law clerk with the Maryland Office of the Attorney General’s Criminal Division, supporting both the Organized Crime Unit and the Fraud and Corruption Unit. He will continue his public service at the U.S. Department of Justice throughout the 2026-27 academic year before joining a Washington, D.C., law firm as a summer associate in 2027.

Robert enjoys exploring the world. He has traveled to more than 55 countries and is a certified scuba diver. He is always in search of his next adventure, whether above or below sea level.
