This year, we welcomed Mikey Panner, Caleb Chaudry, and Jay Bickford, who are working closely with full-time staff members Mary Pat Dwyer, Nina-Simone Edwards, and Stephanie Weiner on research and policy initiatives.

To enrich the summer learning experience for our interns and others within Tech & Society, we organized a series of informal talks throughout June:

• Tech Institute Justice Fellow Matthew Sparks led a session on personal data protection and privacy.
• Stephanie Weiner shared her career journey and insights from her work at the FCC, DOE, and as Chief Counsel at NTIA.
• Paloma Perez Christie, Former FCC spokesperson and Director of Media Relations, led an interactive session on the critical role of communication and messaging in driving meaningful policy change.
