Workshop on the Environmental Impacts of Data Centers

On October 9th-10th, we were thrilled to convene a small, closed-door gathering of civil society organizations and think tanks.
The event was held in collaboration with the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) and Digital Economy and the Environment Program (DEEP).
Day 2 featured a presentation by Patrick Yurky, a Justice Fellow at the Tech Institute, on international approaches to overseeing data center growth and development. His presentation sparked thoughtful discussions on regulating data centers, greening the electricity grid, and related sustainability issues.
