Class of 2028

Archer Amon is a 2L at Georgetown Law and an AI policy researcher with six years of experience in the field. His work has spanned across a wide range of approaches and disciplines like international diplomacy, technical standard-setting, and municipal policymaking.

Before law school, Archer studied at Florida International University in Miami, where he earned a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in International Relations, and a B.A. in Political Science (with a minor in Physics).

Archer has deep experience with research and publication. During undergrad, he led interdisciplinary research on copyright and AI for computer science professor Dr. Wenbin Zhang. He also published original research on the relationship between technological advancement and the decline of public spaces in urban design. In a non-academic context, he has published articles in Tech Policy Press and Last Week in AI. He has also pursued a variety of engagement and advocacy in undergrad, through Model UN team leadership and through the Paragon Policy Fellowship.

Now as a tech law scholar, Archer is excited to become more involved with the tech law community at Georgetown and contribute to its impact. During 1L, he volunteered as a student notetaker for multiple Knight Georgetown Institute conferences on technology and antitrust, and spent Spring clerking at a plaintiff’s side antitrust firm. He is currently working over the summer with Public Knowledge, through the FCBA Technology Media and Telecommunications Law and Policy Pipeline Program.
