Class of 2029

Cordelia Tran hails from Orange County, California. She graduated summa cum laude from George Mason University where she competed in collegiate speech and debate, earning a national championship. Her legal experience includes government contracts, civil and criminal litigation. She currently works at Cooley LLP in the IP practice group.

In addition to her legal work, Cordelia co-founded the United Vietnamese Refugee Association, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the history of the Vietnamese refugee diaspora. She curates exhibits for the Vietnamese Heritage Museum and has helped lead historical preservation initiatives and community education projects. Her academic and professional interests include artificial intelligence, information privacy, cybersecurity, and inclusive innovation. She hopes to build a career at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy.
