Class of 2026

Divya is a data scientist and second-year J.D. student interested in ensuring that the benefits of technological innovation continue to outweigh the harms. She is the President of the Georgetown Antitrust and Competition Law Association, Outreach Director for the Cyberlaw Society, and a Research Assistant to Professors Tanina Rostain and Neel Sukhatme.

Prior to law school, Divya was a TechCongress fellow working for Senator Klobuchar on a range of technology policy and antitrust topics, including broadband access, data privacy, and algorithmic pricing. Before that, she was a senior research analyst at The Brattle Group, where she helped a wide array of public and private sector clients make decisions informed by complex and varied sources of data. Her work included analyzing econometrics for technology antitrust litigation, creating big data pipelines for consumer protection and white collar crime investigations, and defining robust data collection processes for pro-bono clients.

Divya holds a B.S. in Computer Science, Economics, and Data Science from MIT, where she was involved in the start-up ecosystem and created resources to encourage student-led innovation.
