Shiyue (Freya) Wang is from Nanjing, China. She graduated from Nanjing University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. Prior to law school, she interned at O’Melveny & Myers, where she worked on pharmaceutical IPOs listed on the HKEx under Chapter 18A, and on Nasdaq and the NYSE. She also participated in the legal translation of Dutfield and Suthersanen on Global Intellectual Property Law (English to Chinese), and contributed to policy advisory work on the “”Medical Advertisement Management Regulation”” for China’s State Administration for Market Regulation.

As a Technology Law and Policy Scholar at Georgetown Law, Freya is particularly interested in biomedical transactions and regulatory issues at the intersection of law, technology, and health. In her free time, she enjoys watching art films and playing the bamboo flute.
