Class of 2025

Will Manville grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated in 2015 from Yale University. At Yale, Will studied History with a focus on 20th century African American History. Will wrote his undergraduate thesis on the jazz bassist and composer Charles Mingus and his unique relationship to the 20th century civil rights movement. Prior to starting law school, Will spent 7 years working at startups in San Francisco and New York City. For most of that time, he worked at an advertising technology consulting firm, where he helped entrepreneurs across a variety of industries grow their businesses online.

At Georgetown law, Will is interested in learning more about digital privacy and antitrust law, especially as they relate to the large digital platforms he worked with during his career in advertising. He ultimately wants to build a legal practice at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and consumer protection. Outside of his studies, Will is an avid musician and fan of Premier League soccer.
