Externship Application Process
To register for the externship seminar after a placement has been secured, students must fill out and submit the online Externship Registration Form. After a student's application is approved, the Office of the Registrar will manually update the student's schedule on MyAccess. If there are any problems with your application, you will be contacted directly.
Once you are approved for the externship, please register for the JD Externships TWEN site to complete the other required forms (Supervision Agreement Form, Student Agreement Form, and Goals Worksheet) within your first week of work.
Fall semester: The first day of add/drop - Friday, August 14, 2015
Spring semester: First day of Week One - Monday, January 4, 2016
Summer term: Friday, April 29, 2016
Please note that students must complete all administrative, classroom, and written assignments in order to be eligible for credit.
