The Community Justice Project is a clinic at Georgetown University Law Center where students directly represent clients (our current cases are unemployment insurance appeals) and act as advocates for community, non-profit, educational, faith-based and other organizations and groups.

The Community Justice Project seeks to:

-Provide students with an appreciation for the complexity of working for social justice, an understanding of the variety of skills and strategies that lawyers can use to seek justice, and the faith that students have the capacity to make a difference as a lawyer.

-Help organizations and community groups to tackle complex, high priority projects across a wide variety of subject areas.
