Margaret Gerety

Director of the Delaney Post-Graduate Residency Program

Dean Gerety works on the Law Center's simulation and competency-based curriculum and other cross-curricular and multi-disciplinary initiatives.  In her role as Director of the Delaney Post-Graduate residency Program, she develops ongoing training and mentoring programming for J.D. graduates participating in Georgetown's Partner Fellowship Program.  Margaret formerly worked in the Office of JD Academic Services, serving as an academic advisor and Director of the first-year program, Week One: Law in a Global Context.

Margaret received her A.B. from Harvard College and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.  After law school, Margaret practiced as a senior tax associate in the Boston and D.C. offices of WilmerHale.  While in law school, Margaret was a teaching assistant for the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School and served as the executive editor of the Harvard Negotiation Law Review.
