Student headshot imageSamantha is a current Georgetown Law student in the Inaugural Cohort of the competitive Business Law Scholars program. At Georgetown, she is the president of CFLO, the Corporate and Financial Law Organization, Senior Development Editor of The Georgetown Law Journal, actively involved in LALSA, the Latin American student organization, and is a student member of the Corporate Symposium Advisory Board. She is also a Research Assistant for Professor Hillary Sale researching current issues in women & leadership, corporate law, and corporate governance. Samantha spent her 2L summer as a Summer Associate at Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco and interned with the Securities & Exchange Commission, Division of Corporate Finance Fall of 2018. She spent her 1L summer as a Diversity Scholar at Weil, Gotshal, and Manges in New York.

While at the University of Virginia Samantha was selected to live on the Lawn, an honor bestowed for unselfish service and achievement in community activities and academics and currently serves on the McIntire Young Alumni Council as Co-Chair.

She has accepted a full-time position at Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco in their Corporate Department. Samantha speaks Spanish and has traveled extensively, living in Seville, Spain for a semester. She grew up in Dallas, Texas and enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with her dog.
