Morris Parker is an Adjunct Professor of Law. He teaches the Externship I Seminar.
Professor Parker was formerly an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) where he served as the Chief of the Major Crimes Unit for twenty years. He managed a unit of AUSAs prosecuting violent crimes, racketeering offenses, and human trafficking offenses. Professor Parker also served as one of the anti-gang / organized crime coordinators for the USAO in the EDVA. During his twenty-five year tenure with the USAO in EDVA, Professor Parker prosecuted violent crimes, human trafficking offenses, fraud, and narcotics trafficking offenses. He also served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Prince George’s County, Maryland, where he prosecuted violent crimes. Professor Parker has also served as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Forensic Science.
Professor Parker graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Journal of International Law. He received his B.A. in Government from the University of Virginia.
