Lauren Potter

Lauren is a 3L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars program. She is primarily interested in transactional law, and this past summer joined Greenberg Traurig LLP as a 1L 2024 Summer Associate in Miami, Florida. On campus, she is a member of the Corporate and Financial Law Organization, Hispanic Law Students Association, and the Women of Color Collective.
Background
Lauren graduated from Yale University earning a degree in Economics and Political Science with Distinction. At Yale, she played Division I Varsity Volleyball and won two Ivy League Championship titles. She was also involved in campus leadership, serving as Co-Founder and President of the Yale Women’s Network, which became the largest organization for women on campus with over 1,000 members during her presidency.
Lauren gained experience in finance working as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst for Bank of America in the middle-market growth space.
Community involvement is important to Lauren. As Keynote Speaker, she spoke on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation at the 42nd Annual Signature Sponsorship Event, where $225,000 was raised to grant the wishes of over 40 children diagnosed with critical illnesses. She was also a Mentor and Spokesperson for the Children’s Interstitial Lung Disease Foundation in Boston.
Beyond Law School
Lauren is from Coral Gables, Florida. Interests include volleyball, sports, running, cooking, and investing.
