Asia Rising: A Future Hub of Global Arbitration
As international commerce and investment continue pivoting toward Asia, the region is emerging as one of the preferred seats for international arbitrations. With established arbitral institutions located in countries with developed legal frameworks, a fertile mix of common and civil law jurisdictions, a tradition of alternative dispute resolution, and a growing pool of experienced practitioners, Asia offers numerous opportunities for resolving cross-border disputes. This seminar will explore the key drivers behind this trend, including the rise of Singapore and Hong Kong as arbitration powerhouses, and the increasing adoption of technology in dispute resolution. It will also showcase Japan’s efforts to shape the developments. Join us to gain insights into why Asia will be an important alternative for international arbitration in the years ahead.
