Mr. Eaton currently serves as a Judge Advocate in the United States Navy, where he has 18 years of experience, focused on national security law, including public international law, law of armed conflict, law of the sea, intelligence law, government ethics, compliance, investigations, and litigation. He has held positions as the Principal Deputy Staff Judge Advocate at Joint Special Operations Command; Staff Judge Advocate for Carrier Strike Group Fifteen; Staff Judge Advocate for Naval Forces Korea; Instructor at the Naval Justice School, focused on Administrative and Operational Law; Deputy Command Judge Advocate for USS George Washington; Officer-in-Charge of Detainee Review Boards in Bagram, Afghanistan; and Branch Head and Defense Counsel at Naval Legal Service Office, North Central.
