Dramatic reading and conversation followed by reception
The Georgetown Law Office of Alumni Affairs and Theater of Law presents a reading from Aeschylus’ Eumenides — an ancient Greek play that depicts the first murder trial in western culture — to catalyze conversations about morality and justice of the court system. This interactive production aims to engage audiences in constructive and compelling dialogue around the unique ethical and emotional challenges of working within the legal system today.
The event features well-known actors:
Good Night and Good Luck, The Bourne Ultimatum, A League of Their Own
House of Cards, Homeland, and Fargo
The Good Wife, Law & Order: SVU, and On Golden Pond
Billions, Delicious, and Tula: The Revolt
