Law Firm Challenge: 25th Anniversary

Since 1999, Georgetown Law alumni at participating firms have come together in friendly competition to see who can rally the most alumni to give back. Starting with only five firms, the challenge has grown immensely over the last 25 years. Today, 55 firms and nearly 3,000 alumni compete. At the heart of this friendly competition are volunteer “agents” at firms who reach out to fellow Hoya Lawya colleagues to encourage them to give.

“Volunteering as an agent keeps me connected with fellow alumni at my firm and the Law Center. Supporting aspiring lawyers is important to me and the LFC is the perfect avenue to do just that.” Jeff Rothschild, Partner, McGuireWoods

The LFC is a powerful engagement opportunity where participating alumni provide crucial support to the Law Center. Sierra Wood, associate director of the LFC, says, “To date, the Challenge has raised more than $20 million for financial aid, academic programs, clinics and so much more! We anticipate that in this anniversary year, alumni will blow us away with their generosity.”

Any gift made to the Law Center, regardless of amount or designation, counts towards the Law Firm Challenge. If you are interested in participating in the challenge, please make a gift today! If you would like to learn more about the LFC or are interested in getting your firm involved please email Sierra Wood.
