Supporting Georgetown Law Internationally
Georgetown Law has a number of different funds that were specifically set up for our international alumni and supporters. Below is a brief synopsis of some of these funds.
Dory Mayer Endowed Scholarship Fund
The Dory Mayer Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Daniel Wuersch (LL.M’91) in honor of Dory Mayer. Mr. Wuersch is a founding partner of Wuersch & Gering LLP, where his practice focuses on cross-border and domestic corporate, securities, and commercial matters. He serves on Georgetown’s European Law Alumni Advisory Board (ELAAB). Dory Mayer retired in 2015 after serving as Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and Director of International Student Services at Georgetown University Law Center. She is a founding member of the Georgetown Club of Germany. The Mayer Fund provides merit-based scholarships for international students enrolled in the LL.M degree program.
