Alex Lin Dale
Alex is a first-year law student and a member of Cohort 9 in the Business Law Scholars Program. After graduation, he is interested in pursuing transactional work in media, entertainment, and technology.
Background
Prior to law school, Alex built a career across education, entertainment, and business, with a focus on leadership and growth. Most recently, he worked in education technology as a Partnership Manager and K-12 Public Sector Lead for Niche, where he managed a portfolio of 250 public K–12 partners representing $4M in annual recurring revenue and received the 2024 President’s Club award for achieving top performance on the team.
Earlier in his career, Alex worked in the film and television industry, supporting high-profile writers, actors, and directors. Before that, he spent several years as a K-12 teacher and music program director in Illinois and California.
A classically trained musician, Alex holds a graduate degree in conducting and has over 30 years of experience as a pianist and multi-instrumentalist.
This summer, Alex will be a summer associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Los Angeles, California.

Alex is from West Los Angeles, CA. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, running, and hanging out with his two sons.
