Arjun Brar
Arjun is a first-year law student and a member of Cohort 9 in the Business Law Scholars Program. He is interested in practicing corporate law, and long term would like to do something in the public sector focusing on environmental protection.
Background
Prior to law school, Arjun was an undergrad at Georgetown University, studying Mathematics and Economics. During this time, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Sea Energy Incorporated, where he developed a prototype device to harness the power of ocean waves and create emission-free electricity, combating climate change. He worked through the prototyping process iteratively, participating in various workshops and competitions, and collaborating with experts and mentors to help incubate the business. His team finished as a semi-finalist in the 2024 Hult Prize Competition (top 16 out of over 10,000 teams).
This summer, Arjun will be a summer associate at Orrick in their DC Office, working on their Energy & Infrastructure team.
