Chinenye is a 1L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars program. After law school, she plans to work in BigLaw. Practice areas of interest include corporate law, emerging companies, global disputes, international arbitration, and entrepreneurship. Chinenye is a Georgetown Law Student Ambassador and member of the Black Law Students Association, Christian Legal Society, and Corporate and Financial Law Organization.

Background

Prior to law school, Chinenye spent two years as an Investment Banking Analyst for Risk and Global Payments at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Chinenye graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Applied Linguistics and minors in Arabic and International Business. During undergrad, she was involved as a Principal Investigator in Behavioral Sciences Research at Washington University Psychological & Brain Sciences, Chair of Community Outreach at Lambda Sigma Service Honorary, SEO Edge Fellow at SEO Career, and in New Member Onboarding for the Pre Law Fraternity Phi Delta Phi.

Beyond Law School

Chinenye is from Central Texas. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music (RnB and Afrobeats), cooking, playing musical instruments, food, travel, film, and stand up comedy.
