Banker, Consultant – to Corporate Lawyer

Cole Feinberg joins the Business Law Scholars program at Georgetown Law with the goal of becoming a business lawyer with a focus on corporate social responsibility, ESG strategies, compliance, M&A, and startups.

Background and Experience

After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Cole worked for 4 years on Wall Street at Bank of America Merrill Lynch on the Hedge Fund Origination & Product Management team. From there she went to business school at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth to pursue a career more focused on strategy. While at Tuck, she co-chaired the Tuck Community Consulting Club and worked as a Summer Consulting Associate at Analysis Group. It was in a “Managers and the Law” class taught by a judge during her final semester at Tuck where she discovered that her passion for strategy, analysis, writing, and helping companies solve their most challenging problems could best be realized, for her, in becoming a lawyer. Cole is excited to use her banking and consulting experience to pursue a law career at the intersection of law, business, and entrepreneurship.

Outside of the Classroom

Cole loves riding horses, hiking (or anything outdoors), traveling the world, and walking the neighborhood with her rescue dog Ernesto, aka Ernie. She also makes a mean carrot cake.
