Dylan MacEachernDylan is a 2L at Georgetown Law in Cohort 7 of the Business Law Scholars program. After law school, his goal is to practice corporate transactional law. Practice areas of interest include private equity, capital markets, and fund formation. On campus, he is a member of Georgetown’s Military Law Society.

This past summer, Dylan worked for the General Counsel of Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings Inc. in New York.

Background

Before law school, Dylan served in the Canadian Armed Forces (Royal Canadian Air Force) for nine years. He served as a jet pilot with experience on multiple platforms, including the CT156 Harvard II and the CT155 Hawk. Dylan completed the NATO Flying Training in Canada program in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, as the highest-ranking candidate in all phases of flight training and was subsequently promoted to the rank of captain. Dylan also spent three years as a Staff Officer at the National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, where he helped manage the scope and schedule for Air Force procurement projects and negotiated with project stakeholders and commercial suppliers to acquire essential resources and materials in support of military operations and training.

Dylan graduated with a Degree in Aviation Technology with Honors and Distinction from Seneca College in Toronto, Canada.

Beyond Law School

Dylan is from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey and softball. Additional interests include running, cycling, and playing the guitar.
