On campus, Maia is a RISE Fellow, and serves as a 1L Delegate for Georgetown Law Restructuring Club. She is also a member of the Corporate & Financial Law Organization (CFLO) and the First Generation Student Union (FGSU).

Background

Maia graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce in Management, Finance, and Marketing. As a varsity rower, she competed at the provincial and national level while serving as her team’s Finance and Logistics Coordinator.

Alongside her athletics, Maia worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Accounting Department and as a Mental Health Researcher in partnership with the Government of Canada and Dalhousie University, contributing to multiple projects on mental health systems and equity and co-authoring over eight peer-reviewed publications.

Beyond Law School

Maia is from Calgary, Canada. In her free time, she enjoys HYROX partner racing, doubles sculling, and staying active outdoors.
