Manny is a 2L student and a member of Cohort 6 in the Business Law Scholars program. His goal is to work in transactional law with a focus on sovereign debt and project finance. On campus Manny is a member of the BLSA executive board, a RISE fellow, and a Research Assistant for Professor Dorothy Brown.

Background & Experience

Manny graduated from Cornell University with a major in Government and a minor in Africana Studies. There he was involved in various activities and affiliations including Black Students United, Cornell Hedge Fund, and Alpha Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Prior to law school, Manny was a SEO Law Fellow at White & Case LLP in Washington, D.C.. He also worked at Morgan Stanley for two years as an Equity Research Associate covering Financial Institutions, and his responsibilities included financial modeling, speaking with Morgan Stanley’s trading clients, and analyzing the sector from an investment perspective.

Beyond Law School

Manny is from Kumasi, Ghana. He is fluent in Twi/Akan and enjoys sports (basketball, football, soccer), music, and movies.
