Roxanna Abdoli is an incoming 1L at Georgetown Law. She was selected to be in Cohort 4 of the Business Law Scholars Program. Prior to Georgetown, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a major in journalism and a minor in political science.
During her time at USC, she held a leadership position in the university’s most active political organization and co-anchored a morning broadcast show. She reported and wrote as a staff writer for The Daily Trojan, and interned for California Governor Gavin Newsom’s gubernatorial campaign.
Before law school, she interned for Ober, Pekas, Ronstadt Disability Attorneys advocating for disabled people obtaining and maintaining benefits.
She plans on returning to southern California to practice business and political law in the future, but for now she is excited to explore DC and get involved in clubs and organizations. She is a proud Iranian-American and in her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and the show “Sopranos.”
