Roxanna Abdoli

Roxanna Abdoli is an alumna and was in Cohort 4 of the Business Law Scholars Program. Prior to Georgetown, she graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with a major in journalism and a minor in political science.

During her time at USC, she was involved in various political organizations, co-anchored a morning broadcast show, reported and wrote as a staff writer for The Daily Trojan, and interned for California Governor Gavin Newsom’s gubernatorial campaign. Before law school, she interned for Ober, Pekas, Ronstadt Disability Attorneys advocating for those with disabilities to obtain and maintain benefits.

During law school, she worked at Caplin & Drysdale in their tax department, and externed at the Securities and Exchange Commission in their Division of Enforcement during the semester. She spent her 2L summer at Latham & Watkins in their San Diego office.

Roxanna is from Scottsdale, Arizona and is a proud Iranian-American. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, and the show “Sopranos.”
