Salvatore DeSena
Salvatore is a first-year law student and a member of Cohort 9 in the Business Law Scholars Program. After graduation, he plans to practice transactional law. He’s especially interested in finance, media, and technology.
He is in the Evening JD Program and works at the Georgetown McDonough School of Business. On campus, he is involved in the Society of Catholic Students and was recently elected Treasurer of GEMALaw.
Background
Salvatore currently works at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Exam Proctor. Courses he has assisted with include Foundations of Entrepreneurship, Organizational Design Strategy, and Modern Real Estate Transactions.
Salvatore earned a BS in Finance from the Penn State Smeal College of Business. During his studies, he founded and served as President of the Penn State Media & Entertainment Business Association, the university’s first student organization focused on the business of digital media, and he competed in the 2025 Penn State FinTech App Competition, winning Second Prize and earning a scholarship funded by Goldman Sachs Gives. He also spent time working as a Film and TV Development Intern at Aggregate Films in West Hollywood, California.
This summer, Salvatore will be working as an In-House Legal Intern at a large real estate investment and management firm.
Beyond Law School
Salvatore is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. His interests include film and television, personal finance and investing, outdoor cycling, and weightlifting.
