Detail-Oriented Entrepreneur

Samson Su’s experiences as an entrepreneur have cultivated his analytical and detail-oriented organizational skills and fostered his interest in practicing as a corporate attorney. He looks forward to pursuing a career involving transactional, finance, and business law.

New Citizen and Magna Cum Laude

Originally from Beijing, China, Samson moved to the United States and became a citizen in 2015. He spent five consecutive semesters on the Dean’s list and graduated magna cum laude in December of 2015 from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in management.

Entrepreneur

Prior to starting law school, Samson was an entrepreneur who ran his own E-Commerce business in partnership with the Amazon Fulfillment Program. During the operation of this business, Samson negotiated with international suppliers, conducted market research, and enhanced his finance management capabilities. He also hosted online conferences with other small business owners, advising US sellers on negotiation tactics to use with Chinese manufacturers. Another mark of Samson’s entrepreneurial spirit is his investment in real estate. Samson has successfully renovated and flipped a residential home into a rental duplex, becoming the landlord. 

Outside of the Classroom

In his free time, Samson likes to play guitar, piano, and travel. He has visited 14 countries and has plans to visit many more.
