30 Years of Military Justice: Where Are We Now?
This event will discuss and highlight 30 years of civil society involvement in military justice, focusing on current proposals to reform to better deal with the issue of sexual assault in the military. Approximately 50 people will attend, and will be open to Georgetown Law students. We envision having 5-8 military justice experts author short essays that will focus the discussion. These essays will then be published in our Journal of National Security Law & Policy. Senator Gillibrand, who has been spearheading current reform efforts, will give a keynote in the evening.
