Join us for the inaugural BLSA Gala! The gala will bring together BLSA alumni and students for an evening of networking and meaningful dialogue. This year’s theme highlights how the past, present, and future are inseparably connected, urging us to reflect on our role as attorneys in actively shaping the future rather than merely anticipating it. By embracing Afrofuturism, we recognize the strength and influence of Black legal professionals, celebrating their strides toward greater justice, inclusion, and representation while emphasizing their ongoing role as trailblazers in advancing society and the law.

Professor Dorothy Brown, L’83, a leader in tax law who’s expertise focuses on race and wealth in America, will offer keynote remarks. Her insights will inspire us to think critically about the future of law and the role of Black legal professionals in shaping it.
