“Changing the Foundation: Black feminists and imagination” Fireside Chat
Join the Workers’ Rights Institute at Georgetown Law (WRI) for a fireside chat between Georgetown University Prof. Dayo F. Gore and WRI Senior Fellow Gabrielle Rejouis for a conversation about how Black women radicals created space in the labor movement to imagine and theorize improvements to their lived experience. The conversation will connect the history of Black women in labor organizing, the Black feminist theories of creating the conditions for change, and the importance of a Black feminist analysis for the labor movement.
Speakers:
- Dr. Dayo F. Gore, Georgetown University
- Gabrielle Rejouis, Workers’ Rights Institute at Georgetown Law
