The Georgetown Law Chicago Service Committee is excited to announce that Mary McCord (L’90), Visiting Professor of Law and the Executive Director of the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection (ICAP) at Georgetown Law, will deliver a virtual talk on Thursday, October 7 at 6 PM CT. We hope you’ll join us for A Conversation on Political Violence, Extremism, and Voting Rights and tune in to learn more about the work ICAP is implementing across the country.

Professor McCord leads a team that brings constitutional impact litigation at all levels of the federal and state courts across a wide variety of areas including First Amendment rights, voter protection, immigration, criminal justice reform, and combating the rise of private paramilitaries. Toward the end of the evening, the Georgetown Law Chicago Service Committee will provide local points of contact and highlight opportunities for Hoya Lawyas to help uphold democratic norms.
