Hastings Center Rising Star Workshop and Health Law LL.M. Reception

Join us on April 21, 2025, at Georgetown Law for a special convening of the Hastings Center Rising Star Workshop and Health Law LL.M. Reception hosted in partnership with the O’Neill Institute. This event celebrates the next generation of thought leaders in health, law, and bioethics through the Rising Star program, launched in 2024 to honor exceptional junior faculty. The event will also feature a special graduation ceremony for students in Health Law LL.M. Program.

We are proud to feature Professor Thomas Williams, recognized for his outstanding scholarship and leadership in the field. He will present his timely work-in-progress, “Intentional Health-Related Wrongdoing,” with responses from Professor Michele Bratcher Goodwin and Professor Allison Whelan. The event will conclude with a keynote from Professor Whelan, a stole ceremony, and a networking reception. Light refreshments will be served.
