National Preparedness Month is observed each September to raise awareness about the importance of preparing for disasters and emergencies that could happen at any time. The Office of Emergency Management (OEM), in partnership with the Law Center Department of Public Safety (DPS), is hosting multiple events to educate the Georgetown community about emergency preparedness.
