Come listen to some fresh ideas for navigating the intersection of international trade and development in all of its dimensions — economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Next-Generation Approaches to Trade and Development, Balancing Economic, Social, and Environmental Sustainability is a hot-off-the press book that brings together a collection of papers spanning the pillars of sustainable development –economic, social, and environmental sustainability– that offer innovative, interdisciplinary perspectives on this critical question.

Based on papers written by Georgetown Law students and edited by Katrin Kuhlmann, the book provides fresh insights and bold, new ideas on some of the most pressing issues in trade and development. It encompasses contributions covering multiple dimensions of sustainable development and incorporating analyses of trade law’s overlap with other legal disciplines such as human rights law, environmental law, investment law, intellectual property law, and financial law.
