Naloxone Training and Distribution with HoyaDOPE
August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a time to remember those we’ve lost and take action to prevent more overdoses. In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day, the Center on Addiction and Public Policy at the O’Neill Institute, in partnership with the HoyaDOPE Project at Georgetown University Medical Center, is hosting a naloxone training and distribution session.Â
This training is designed to equip our community with the skills and knowledge to use naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid-related overdose.
