HOW CAN I PREPARE FOR THE COURSE?

There are no prerequisites for the Week One first-year simulation courses. All of them, however, require reading and preparation before classes begin on January 6, 2025. Students can expect to receive information about course materials and instructions via their course's Canvas page and/or their email in December.

HOW AM I EVALUATED?

First-Year Week One courses are highly participatory and graded on a pass/fail basis. The faculty do not expect you to be experts and will not grade you on the quality of your work, in or outside of class. Instead, you will be evaluated solely on your attendance and participation. For that reason, you must be present and on time for all class sessions and complete all class assignments.
