The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director, General Rafael Mariano Grossi will give an address, Fulfilling Atoms for Peace from War Zones to the Antarctic, at 5 pm on October 23, 2024, on the 9th Floor of 500 1st St. NW, Washington, DC. A reception will follow the Director General’s remarks.

This event is the opening event for a three-day workshop, Nuclear Safety and Security in an Insecure World: A Three-Day Workshop (Oct. 23-25) on Legal Challenges and Career Opportunities. Co-hosted by Georgetown University Law Center, The George Washington University Law School, and American University Washington College of Law, in partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
