Faculty Member of the Year Award (Staff Only)

The Staff Awards Committee annually recognizes a member of Georgetown Law’s faculty. The award honors a professor selected by the Georgetown Law Staff who is admired and respected by the staff, exemplifies a deep sense of professionalism, consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and service, collaborates with and inspires other members of the Law Center community.

David J. McCarthy, Jr., Award

The David J. McCarthy, Jr., Award for Excellence in Administration and Service was established in 1997 to honor professor and former dean of the Law Center, David J. McCarthy.  The purpose of the award is to recognize “a senior administrator in our community who embodies the characteristics of excellence that David McCarthy exhibited.”

Carol Quindlen O’Neil Award

The Carol Quindlen O’Neil Award was established in 2011 to honor Associate Dean Carol Quindlen O’Neil who was a long time member of the Georgetown Law community and the high standards of service and dedication that she exemplified during her twenty years of service.
