A. Prince Albert III, affectionately known as Prince The Culture Keeper™, is a cultural advocate, public scholar, and multidisciplinary artist. Prince founded and leads The Culture Keepers Circle, a national grassroots movement of African-descendant, Indigenous, Latiné, Asian/Pacific Islander, and other cultural communities formed to protect the people, places, practices, and treasures (cultural resources) that document our contributions to American society. He regularly speaks on how cultural communities can safeguard their tangible heritage and maintain traditionalist ways of life. Beyond advocacy and academia, as a DJ/music producer and filmmaker, Prince creates soundscapes and immersive imagery to share Afro/Indigenous folk traditions worldwide.
Before founding The Circle, Prince led Goldwater Ventures, a public affairs firm advancing cultural sustainability through political strategy, program development, and cross-sector engagement. He previously served as a technology policy counsel for leading civil, human, and consumer rights organizations in Washington, D.C. A U.S. Navy veteran and former high school instructor, Prince holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law as a Global Law Scholar, an M.A. in French from Middlebury College, and dual B.A. degrees in Philosophy and French from Morehouse College.
