B.A., University of Notre Dame; J.D., Georgetown. Professor Belcuore has been engaged in private practice specializing in civil trial and appellate litigation since 1975. He served a term as president of the Federal Bar Association from 1991-1992, and has served as the President of the D.C. Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. A member of the Law Center’s adjunct faculty since 1984, he has also taught for the Law Center’s programs with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, the Federal Practice Institute, the Justice Department’s Legal Education Institute, the American Inns of Court, and numerous continuing legal education programs. Professor Belcuore clerked for Judge Ozell M. Trask on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He is recognized regularly among “Best Lawyers” and “Super Lawyers” honorees, and has for many years received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest Overall Peer Rating of “Preeminent.”
