Amie has published numerous articles on trade and customs matters in KPMG publications as well as in the: WorldECR Journal of Export Controls and Sanctions, WorldECR Trade Security Journal, Bloomberg BNA International – Indirect Taxes, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint – Practical Trade & Customs Strategies, the ABA Customs and International Trade Bar Newsletter, and the National Association of College and University Business Officers magazine.
Amie has participated in speaking engagements at KPMG seminars and in conferences / webcasts hosted by associations such as: the World Customs Organization, CompTIA, the American Petroleum Institute, the NAFTZ, the Outdoor Industry Association, the National Association of Manufacturers, the Aerospace Industry Association, and the Organization of Women in International Trade.
Amie is the global alliance lead for Alliances for KPMG’s Trade and Customs Practice. In this role, Amie leverages her knowledge of our alliance partners’ (e.g., SAP, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.) service offerings to bring additional value and solutions to challenges our clients may encounter in their trade activities.
Amie also serves as an adjunct professor in the area of global indirect taxation (customs duties and the VAT) at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
