Andrew George is a partner in Baker Botts L.L.P.’s trial group, where he focuses on white collar criminal defense and civil litigation. He has led a number of cases for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, where he was a member of the Board of Directors, as well as for the Innocence Network and the West Virginia Innocence Project. He joined Baker Botts after clerking for Judge James C. Cacheris of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as notes editor on the Virginia Law Review. Before joining Georgetown, he taught wrongful convictions for six years as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Law.
