Andrew George is a founding partner at Bourelly, George + Brodey, where he focuses on white collar criminal defense and civil litigation. He has led a number of cases for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, where he was a member of the Board of Directors, as well as for the Innocence Network and other innocence organizations. In 2020, he led the team that exonerated Jason Lively after 15 years of wrongful imprisonment in West Virginia. He is a 2008 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as notes editor on the Virginia Law Review. Before joining Georgetown, he taught wrongful convictions for six years as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Law.
