Beverly Yang is an Older Americans Policy Analyst with the Office for Older Americans at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Before joining theBureau in 2013, Beverly served people with limited income as a consumer and housing attorney in Southern Illinois. As a legal aid attorney, she brought national attention to the practice of jailing of insolvent debtors in post-judgment collection proceedings and helped Illinois State Officials update the Rules of Civil Procedure to prevent similar harm. Beverly earned her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
